Hey first time listening, I enjoyed it a lot. Congrats on CZ… I don’t think anyone likes that guy even after he’s on farm.
For the giant beam phase, remember some classes can survive that beam if they find themselves turned around and don’t tuck behind the right corner, like Marauders and Sorcs. Also, tanks at full health can typically survive it, especially with a cooldown up.

Thanks Nepthen! That is a good point and always makes me freak out for a second and then laugh when our tricky Sorcs bubble up in the badness. The SM version of the beam I’ve been able to eat even as a Merc. I’ll have to look into exactly how much damage it does on HM.
I think Max should test it out and see if he can survive the giant beam on hard mode. You know. For science!
If it wasn’t so far into the fight I’d do it in a heartbeat. It’s just a long trip through the first phases if I cause a wipe 🙂
Maybe when we have it on farm and have a BR to spare we can do it. I’m in!
One night one of my Vanguard tanks zigged when he should have zagged and got nailed by the beam and survived. He checked his log and it hit him for 31k. The best part? I caught it on video and it’s on YouTube.
