Hi Max and Sema. Would you mind telling me at which part you’re dying on Corrupter Zero?
No particular part. We just seem to take a lot of damage in general. We are stacking on the boss and try to LOS the adds where possible. If the adds show up in a bad place, like directly across, we could lose a healer that draws agro. We are pretty good with the mine since we are stacked and usually don’t get to more than 1-2 ticks of the mine, but because we are stacked it does hit the group and any delay there might stack on something else and kill a tank. We are killing the heal bots asap with the off tank trying to interrupt the elite add, but if that add gets a cast off then part of the group can end up stunned (like a healer) and someone dies or the adds go down slow. We are Tanks (PT + Assassin) Heals (Sorc+Op) DPS (Marauder+Sorc+Mercx2.) Mostly 180 gear, mostly ok on DPS, etc.
We’ll try some HM DF and see how we stack up. The first three HM fights in DP are a breeze. No problem at all. It’s interesting that this fight is giving us such trouble but nothing else really is at the HM level.
We have our Marauder solo the elite add (getting all the interrupts) while range burn down their assigned heal bots.
The one dps not preassigned to either the elite or the heal bots starts on the silver mobs, with the other dps joining after their respective solo kills. Getting as many AoEs out on the silver mobs as possible is obviously paramount, as plenty o’ damage is going out during this phase. Make sure heals are guarded throughout with the offtank taunting as many of the silver adds as possible…I think get the offtank away from the elite add completely.
